Sunday, February 21 from 11:00am - 1:00pm PST
Brioche isn’t just for knitters. Crocheters can make stunning brioche pieces that will make everyone stare.
Rachel will teach you how to create this simple cup cozy that looks complicated but is as easy as can be. All you need to know is how to chain, single crochet (sc), half double crochet (hdc) and double crochet (dc). Once you learn the steps, you could easily create the star or any number of fun crochet brioche projects.
- Post stitches - Learning this simple stitch will not only allow you to crochet brioche, it is how you create crochet cables, make mosaic crochet and crochet a stretchy ribbing.
- Crochet brioche in the round vs flat.
- Troubleshooting and questions.
- Explore patterns and possibilities if time allows.
For this class, you will need two different colors of fingering weight yarn, size D crochet hook and stitch markers.
Fee is sliding scale and includes the pattern. Standard fee is $35. Please pay what you can. If you pay more than $35, you are generously sponsoring someone who cannot afford to pay the standard fee but would still like to take the class. Can't afford the standard fee? Pay what you can. Minimum fee $15.
You will be sent an email with a log on link the week before the class.
